Have your say on what's built next to Taylor Street.

Council is proposing apartment buildings of up to 8–10 storeys on three sites bordering Taylor Street. A personal letter from you is the most effective way to be heard, and it takes about ten minutes.

How to send it ↓

On your phone? You can edit the template in the Word app, or email this page to yourself and finish it on your computer.

From your neighbours Kaushik (#49) and Rich (#61) Taylor Street.

Why your own letter counts

Council counts letters, not signatures.

Identical form letters are often grouped and counted as one. A few sentences in your own words make yours a separate submission.

The online survey can't hold the detail.

Council's survey limits site-specific comments to 1,500 characters and doesn't take attachments. A letter sent by email can carry the whole case.

Five minutes to make it yours.

Fill in the yellow highlights: your name, your address, and a sentence or two about how this affects you.

Questions

Do I have to live on Taylor Street?

No. Anyone can make a submission. It helps to say how the proposal affects you.

Can my partner or adult children submit too?

Yes. Each person can send their own letter. Change the name and at least one sentence so each one is distinct.

Will my name be published?

Council may publish submissions or summaries of them. Check the privacy note on Council's exhibition page. You can ask for your personal details to be withheld.

I already did the online survey. Should I still send a letter?

Yes, if you can. A letter can include detail the survey can't.

What happens after 28 October?

Council reviews the submissions and reports back before the plan goes to the NSW Government. We'll update this page if there's another chance to have a say.
